Administrators hughezee Posted September 6, 2015 Administrators Report Share Posted September 6, 2015 Well Retro Rich was in for his weekly oil change today but seriously he happened to mention he had a squeak from the front brakes now and after having a similar noise from the rear brakes only weeks earlier which we resolved by trimming the edges of the new brake pads. So he purchased some new front pads in preparation and upon further inspection the old pads just needed a quick trim as well, but since we had the pads and the disks where in good shape we fitted them regardless. So I though I would share a few shots of us fitting front brake pads on his Accord Coupe V6. These pic’s cover the basics, although we did clean an grease the calliper pistons/ dust covers and used molly grease on the shims where the caliper grips the pads and we did have to drain some of the brake fluid.
