Administrators hughezee Posted September 3, 2014 Administrators Report Share Posted September 3, 2014 Finally got round to fully inspecting and servicing the brakes on the Shuttle The Shuttle & Odyssey rear brakes setup is basically the same as 7th Generation Accord “Tourer” & 8th generation Accord “Saloon-Tourer” So no need to wind the caliper back in Little rubber safe grease to aid cleaning too. Little d-rusting and a spruce up All four corners done and I've used approx 1.5L of brake fluid, will be repeating the process in 2-3 years Any questions just ask 👍
Administrators hughezee Posted April 11, 2020 Author Administrators Report Share Posted April 11, 2020 Just a quick video (not great) of me tackling my RA6 odysseys rear brake disc & pads replacement. This job applies to a selection of Honda models including the 7th gen Accord Tourer and 8th gen accord, even the CR-V and the MK2 Legend... Those with a keen eye will notice I glazed over a few points, but I only serviced the rear brake a few months prior. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask. 2
Administrators hughezee Posted November 11, 2023 Author Administrators Report Share Posted November 11, 2023 Fresh calipers for @Retro Rich Shuttle recently. 👍 A full set of new rear hoses ordered (+fronts) and today I have managed to bag a pair of new old stock rear brake discs for an NSX £40 notes delivered. Turns out the shuttle shares the same rear discs 😃 (same part number: 42510SP0000), more updates to follow soon.😉
