Hi all. Firstly I would like to introduce myself, I'm Leigh from south Wales, and I have just today purchased my first honda elysion. Now I have been researching all week about replacing the head unit of the elysion to an android head unit, but after picking up the car today, it's just to stunning to put one in. But I might have a solution I would like to share with you all. IAM a precious nissan elgrand owner and in them there was a hack for the Japanese screens, which I believe will work on these after inspecting today. I have noticed that my elision has a RCA video input which I believe is for the TV transmitter in the car, with some trickery I believe I can do what I did in my nissan elgrand which with some cheap mods off Amazon and a push of a couple of buttons on the head unit, will allow my phone to mirror onto the OEM sat nav screen. I have the parts coming tomorrow and if I'm right, I believe there will be some happy elysion owners on here as the screen will now become functional instead of just showing a map of Japan !!. I will check tomorrow when the parts arrive if this works and if it does I will update everyone with what to get and how to do it. Best part is if this works it can be done for either £20 or with voice control £60. Fingers crossed honda forum.
