I've owned a few Hondas in my life... Most recently a mk8 accord tourer 2.2 dtec, which I believe is an acura tsx in the states? With new low emission zones around my home the 2011 accord would have incurred charges on my daily commute which forced me to make a switch from diesel to petrol, the ever expanding family have complained during long journeys about space so the extra row of seats my ody offers will come in very handy.
I searched for some months before coming across an import company in coventry who had recently imported and registered my rb1 absolute. The absolute appealed to me because of the auto box as opposed the the cvt gearbox found in lower spec models and the simpler lines of the rb1 body won out against the rb3 in the end.
The car has been fitted with a full mugen body kit some 20in work wheels and is lowered on tein wagon master coilovers... 20 in wheels are usually a bit ott for my taste but the car sits very well and ride is surprisingly supple despite the coilovers.
Thanks for the tips.. I will have a look on amayama site and cross reference the part numbers with a UK based supplier.
