Moderators PTR200S Posted July 31, 2020 Moderators Report Share Posted July 31, 2020 The Elysion has a power socket in the tailgate area. Rated at 100 volts / 100amps if I recall , Darren has used a converter to get 240v, but just wondered if anyone has converted socket, in any imported vehicle, to UK output without using an external converter? Founding Member PaulS Posted July 31, 2020 Founding Member Report Share Posted July 31, 2020 Wow, that is some current pull from a 12v battery if it gives 100A at 100v. Hope the cables are up to that & do not get too hot! I used a 3KW 240v inverter from a big leisure battery (to power a 2.5kw electric compressor) which rarely gave power for more than 1hr and that had very big cables - like starter leads - directly from the battery to the inverter 1
