  1. Good morning guys,

My Elysion came with Michellin Cross Climate tires when I bought it. The fronts ran unevenly despite realignment and he rears behave like they have slow punctures (perhaps they just do).

Anyways - time for a change and I'm looking for replacements that better suit vehicle please. I'm running original wheels so the tires are 215/60R17.

All season preferable as I'm going to start using the car in Europe.

    Thanks

  2. Missing info from the V5C, compared to my Honda Jazz at least, are things like CO2 (g/km) mainly.

Now that I've read the article I shared I want to seek a way to have my Elysion exempt from these emission zone charges because clearly its a cleaner vehicle than many that would be exempt from charges.

I'm planning on using the Elysion in Europe as well, which in France I think I need to get a Crit' Air Sticker. Based on age the Ely would be given a 3 when it realistically a 2.

Was just wondering if anyone with the knowledge and tenacity had managed to do something about it and wouldn't mind haring it with he community.

    Thanks

  3. Hi all,

I read this article https://global.honda/en/newsroom/news/2004/4040513-elysion-eng.html, which suggests that the Honda Elysion was ahead of its time in terms of emissions.

My 2004 3.0L doesn't appear to be exempt from ULEZ or the other city schemes in the UK and abroad due to year it is registered opposed to its emission output.

Has anyone successfully found a way to get around this? Perhaps with the DVLA etc? My V5C contains little information about the vehicle, presumably because it's an import vehicle.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

In addition, does anyone have the missing V5C information I am referring to?

    Kind regards,

    Darren

  4. Thank you for this guys. Really appreciate the steer on this

I would like to keep using the semi-s oil 10w40, as the car hasn't skipped a beat. So, if Napa is potentially better than mobil, could you provide a link so I can stock up on this?

Lastly, can a fuel filter be easily changed on the 3.0? If so where might I find a filter? These aren't stocked with Cox Honda.

    Thanks

  5. Hello everybody,

I'm looking for some help picking up service items for my Ely 3.0v6 2004, as it's due a service now.

Oil currently in it is Mobil Super 2000 10W40, although a replacement air filter and oil filter wouldn't go a miss.

If anybody knows where I can pick up the correct parts (oil, air filter and oil filter) to do a self-service, I would be hugely grateful.

I haven't contacted Honda, as I haven't found them particularly useful in the past.

    Thank you in advance.

P.S: I don't mind spending extra on higher quality items, as I intend to keep the car for the long-term.

  6. Hello everyone,

I've wanted JDM 8 seater for quite some time, so I took the plunge in Feb 2021 and bought the family a Elysion Aero G with the 3.0v6 engine and 4WD.

I purchased from Honda, so I paid more than perhaps what I would've done if I purchased privately or imported it myself. However, I was looking for some peice of mind with the added bonus of a warranty.

I've insured it Mark Richard's, as the customer service was good and the price reasonable.

My other car is a 1996 Mercedes C280, but I'll probaly change this in a year as I do with my cheap runabouts.

Thank you for the warm welcome to the good and I look forward to reading about your experiences in owning an Elysion!
