  1. Mine did the same in the cold snap ,car hadn’t had any use and the battery was low!posted a message at the time!Charging the battery and using the car brought it back to life although driving around with no speedometer is not recommended! Had no problems since but the weather has been above zero recently so keeping fingers crossed too!!

  2. Yep,charged up the battery and after thawing it out this morning took it for a long run in the sunshine .

Twenty minutes later fuel and temp gauge came to life!! Shortly after the rev counter and Speedo too so at the moment all seems to be well.I have to deliver some Austin 1800 parts to the Landcrab Owners Club parts man on Tuesday to Blackpool so will give it another runout then . Replacing the cluster is a last resort as I dont want to loose the mileage .Thanks for input Cheers Dave

  3. Started the coupe this morning after a month lay-up and setting off noticed gauges were stuck on zero ,no mileage gauge either.

they briefly kicked in a few miles later only to freeze up again, lights all ok including indicators. Ending up sticking on zero again by end of trip.I think I will need to get another instrument cluster but I’m wondering if the forum has any ideas !?Car is a V6 .Thanks guys.

  4. Hi everyone

I’m Dave and I joined the forum a year or so ago but this is my first post! I’ve got 2 coupes ,a green 2.0 and purple 3.0.My dad had Hondas in the 70s and had aN600,Z,civic,accord and finally a Mk1Prelude.All great cars and I loved them, not had a Honda for years so it’s great to be back in one . I’m no mechanic so the forum is great for advice and helped me sort my exhaust after 2.0 cat was nicked. Thanks guys
